Since July 2006, londoners can find daily low fare flights to Marrakech on easyjet, one of Europe’s leading low cost airline.

The launch of the route between London Gatwick and Marrakech made easyJet the first airline to fly to Morocco under the EU open skies agreement. For us travellers, it means a new area of low costs flights to Marrakech and of cheap opportunities to visit one of the new hottest city break destination.

From just £30.99 one way (£60.98 return including taxes) travellers can now explore the vibrant ancient walled city of Marrakech or use the route as a gateway to explore the captivating and colourful country of Morocco - once the centre of a great empire, and experience its unique and magical culture. "Marrakech is a fantastic destination and we anticipate it becoming the hottest city break destination - all year round, for 2006 / 2007,” said David Osborne, UK Country Manager for easyJet.

An anticipation that has since proved true and that has enable esayjet to double it's outbound flights on saturdays.
