Like in most touristic cities, it is easy to find an ATM or a change office in Marrakech. Most of the banks you will find in the city offer these two services and you will also find in the city hot spots some automatic change machines. One of the places to go in order to be sure to find an ATM or a change office is in the pedestrian streets close to the Jemaâ el Fna square. The "rue Moulay Ismail", a large pedestrain street starting from the Hôtel Tazi (a good indication for taxi drivers) is certainly one of the places to head for first.
The huge availibity of ATM's in Marrakech should enable you to easily withdraw Dirhams at all the moments of the day. On the Week-Ends, some very busy sites can see there ATM's completely drained of cash. This often happens around the Jemaâ el Fna square, on sundays it is therefore recommended to aim directly for a bank on the avenue Mohamed V in the modern city of Gueliz.
