Reliable and cheap, the trains are an excellent transportation solution for travels towards cities in the north of Morocco.

In Morocco, the train comes out as a fast, cheap and quite nice way to travel between the main moroccan cities. The moroccan train network is nowadays effective and it's trains are usually on time. Further more and maybe most importantly, it is SAFE ! Unfortunately for our precious lives, the network ends in Marrakech. The travellers wanting to go South will therefore have to rent a car or take a coach ticket, both solutions can be quite an experience !

Until the network is extended to Agadir and to the southern cities, we have to be content with the 3h10 link between Marrakech and Casablanca (9 per day) and the possibilities to travel directly to Rabat, Tangiers, Fes and Meknes. For travellers aiming to visit all 4 imperial cities, the train is therefore the transportation solution adapted to their needs. Considering the cheapness of the train in Morocco, we highly recommend you take a first class ticket in order to be assured of a seat on the train.
